I would appreciate some feedback on this photograph!

 

The scene is a hallway of a long-derelict asylum, as seen through the

window of a seclusion room. Seclusion rooms were used to isolate and

calm violent and unruly patients; oftentimes, however, their use was

abused - a patient could receive a long (up to years) stay in a

seclusion room purely for punitive reasons.

 

This is a photo I took as part of an ongoing project to document

America's abandoned insane asylums; I hope one day to turn this

project into a book.
