Trevose lighthouse in particularly storm conditions captured at dusk with a 30sec exposure. The climb down to the ledge from which this picture was taken stands as one of the dodgiest thinks I have done for a photo to date.

The cliffs were wet with seaspray, the rock being slate becomes the slipperiest surface out, with much of the journey down and up being on hands and knees. Huge waves were battering the rock out of picture to the left and the waves that made it made the water boil like a cauldron! For a fast shutter version check out my photo.net portfolio.EOS 5D with a tesco bag over the top of it, tamron 28_75 f2.8, @ 35mm f8 for 30secs ISO 200

I see that you reposted this...GOOD IDEA! As I said previously, it is a good photograph (7/7). Good luck on future postings. Regards.

Perfect shot and exposure made all the more interesting by your adventure to take it in the first place. Clive

I love the fog in this shot and the "fog water" in the lower portion. Your light is not completely overexposed in this shot--it's just a bright spot (and could actually stand to be brighter to be a little bolder statement of brightness, but is perfectly fine how it is). Great "framing" of the shot with the rocks to the right and left. I also love how the relatively motionless water in the middle came our green--it appears much more interesting. Great job with this shot!
