I was not fully satisfied with the sharpness so I tried out a technique which I learned from by Marc Adamus: First I blow up the file to about 200 MB. Then I sharpened the photo carefully three times: after that I reduced the size and sharpened it for the web version.

Karl, the large format is huge, exceeding even my 19 inch screen... but is for sure the better one from the two , the riders are better accentuated in the larger version( they are not sharp in the previous one. and also here in the small version), but in general I like this one depict nicely the way of life and surrounding.

Indeed the better one, the riders right hand, free space in moving direction, perfectly balanced and composed !

I switched back and forth a while, but I dont see much difference in sharpness and detail, the previous version is a bit more crisper and pretends to be a bit sharper.
