aepelbacher 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Merry Christmas!! This is the first of several photos that I will upload to follow up Cole's photos of this same tree at its point of origin, Walla Walla, Washington. Thank you to Walla Walla for this gorgeous tree. It certainly looks FABULOUS in front of our nation's Capitol building. And thank you to Cole for inspiring me to go downtown to photograph this scene. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Nice job on Cole's tree, Lou Ann! I like the composition, its as though the spotlights nearly form the apex at the top of the tree. Great exposure. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted December 14, 2006 How beautiful this is. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and you have done a lovely job Lou Ann - isn't it fun to do night shootings? As I'm pretty busy - much work and USA guests comming to stay in the hollidays soon - I will allready wish you a merry X-mas now Lou Ann. I hope you will have a nice, fun and warm x-mas together with your family. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted December 14, 2006 Thanks all! I'm glad that you enjoy this shot ... I'll probably see this view several times over the next week or so ... and I know that many of you might never see it. So it's my way of sharing with you what belongs to you. :-) Merry Christmas! afs760bf 0 Posted December 15, 2006 One thing that WAS neat about living and working in DC was the opportunity to see sights like this. It's always nice to go downtown and walk around and find your particular state's Christmas tree, and see all the lights. Nice work - a great shot here. Cheers Link to comment
v 0 Posted December 15, 2006 This is quite a sight!!! Beautifully decorated and shot! Lou, it's been a long while I have not looked at your pics... I am glad to be back :) Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted December 16, 2006 Nice job, Lou Ann! I like the colour of the tree lights against the more mono Capitol. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted December 17, 2006 I agree with Colin. Even so, without the tree, this would be one of the best shots ever that I have seen of the capitol. The exposure is just right. --Lannie Link to comment
williammccarey 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Good job, nice picture even with the tricky lighting. Outstanding! Link to comment

kcole 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Lookie Lookie at the tree, it is amazing, so much differant than seeing it in the "box" How many lights do you think it took to create this look on the tree? It really looks huge next to the capital.. Thanks for going out and doing this, the picture turned out amazing... Link to comment
