Street in Assisi

I was impressed in Assisi by the fact that all houses, and many times

the roads, are made out of similar stone (usually left unplastered). A

unique townscape! Here is one such view (another one is in the replies

to comments in my portofolio, to a fellow photographers from whom I've

got inspiration to visit Assisi after seing such a photo).

To the photo: I seemingly get the problem also when working with a

digital camera that some parts are over- and some underexposed in such

situations. Any advice?
