Harry, this is a composite image, the bear is from Washington, D.C. zoo

and the snow is Mt. Baker glacier. The bear came very close and walked past me posing so it was too perfect picture to waste (obviously too Zoo otherwise). I liked the diagonal line of the glacier photo. By the way, it is a bone under his paw, I kept it from the original. I would like to say that your

photos of the bears, both wild and captive are remakable and very inspiring.

I think I know this bear from the National Zoo :) I am glad that there was a barrier between you and him :) I think I don't need to ask if youhad to risk your life for the absolutely beautiful photo of the tiger...

Then you might know the tiger as well. She has cubs now and I was photographing the cubs when I suddenly realized that she was staring at me with this amazing look!

Wonderful image. Sad that it is in the zoo, but probably the best for all. Wouldn't it be fantastic to see this in the wild? Well captured. The whites are great in this.
