Preparing Lunch (July, 2004)

When staying with a family in Southwest China, I asked if I could

helped them with some house work, like cleaning, cooking, shopping,

etc., and the girl replied: "Why don't you go help my father-in-law

kill the pig for lunch?". Ahem... Needless to say, I was not really

expecting that.
