Gossip 2

B/W version of my yesterday's Gossip posting. Which one do you

prefer (colour or B/W)? I made the B/W version in order to

concentrate more purely on the story in the image.

Hmm tough choice...BW is great focused from a documentary point of view, as u said, more about the story. On the other side, the other one has a very harmonious use of color wich works great too. Reminds me of those photographs u see on national geographic magazines. Both are superb so what your hearts dictates you:) You are the photographer so for sure you have a favorite one. That one is the "good one", last word is yours:)

a very interesting shot. i can easily spend a lot of time trying to build a story around it.

I have a preference or this version, but probably because I have a preference for b&w in general. Very good conversion I must say.

This is nice but I prefer the colour version. Only because I think sometimes B&W is overused and overrated. They are having a "lively" conversation and I think the "lively" colour version more aptly expresses that. Your preference - you are the artist - both versions are wonderful!

I love the B&W! I can just imagine what kind of stories these 2 gals can tell. This is an aweome photo, I think it is interestng to post the same pic in color as well and B&W to get different opinions. Sometimes, it is like getting 2 pics out of one. This photo would be good in any media...even sepia.

Like this version too; but my preferred version is colour as it has some unique, rich colours.

very nice capture. I prefer the coloured version, even though I am a friend of B/W. the blue tones are perfect and the skin colour. The light is better for the coloured version

Beautiful live capture !..documentary in b&w .. i prefer your black and white version ..more strong and high contrast - very well done.

Had another look... part of the reason for prefering this one is because of the bg. in the colour version it is a bit overly blurred.

Both are good image.But I prefer this one more because of the reason stated by you.This image has more element of drama.

Take my vote for the B&W ! This is really good, storytelling, attracts my interest for long. Great capture, congrats !

Very good hunman moment captured ;-)) Jef, the title is perfect for the scene. I like the B/W , it is my favorite, it looks that she is telling her a good piece of gossip.... she looks so interested, and they even didnot feel you are photographing them...
