Neil Diamond concert from the mid 1980's. Diamond's people very controlling. I was allowed only the one angle for one song.

Never a fan but after seeing him live...a great show, great entertainer. Only problem was that

his "people" were very limiting, allowing me only one angle for one song.

Comments on this and all my photos appreciated.

I really enjoyed seeing your photo's of rock stars and concerts. The other photo's in your album are also amazing.

Art, I am not a gal but I am a huge Neil Diamond fan. I believe this was the last tour with Dennis St.Jean on drums before Ron Tutt joined the band. Perhaps you have a photo or two of Neil's drummer? Obviously, I am really enjoying your photographs. Cheers.

He wasn't alone on stage but as far as lighting and angle, Neil was the only thing the crowd could easily see. He was the star and the band was almost in the dark. I wish now that I'd paid more attention to the band members in my shoots and not concentrated only on the star so often.
