"Fly Over..."

I find it's harder to decide when broad scenes can translate to

b&w. I like the image, but not sure if it works in b&w. Please

advise and comment.

In my "inexperienced" opinion, I find that water, sand, sky and seagulls doesn't allow for much contrast, and I find "contrast" seems to work best for B & W. So it looks a tiny bit washed out except for that one seagull in the center. Great image though! Lots of action in a serene kind of way. Wish I was there!! I would like to hear from more experienced people too though, so I'll check back and hopefully get some learnin' on this issue myself!! Thanks for sharing it!
