A really nice image! I especially like the little dots of yellow in the lights - well captured mood!! Congratulations!

This is beautiful, I love how the pathway directs you to the monument. Great job with the snow, this should be in a travel brochure for Washington D.C. or even on a post card. Excellent photography, Kim

Sondra, once again, a real piece of work. Probably the best I can recall involving the Washington Monument.....My, what an eye you have......A pure privelege to have gotten to be friends over the past year or so....Like many others, I'm sure, I'll be thinking of you on the 12th......Jim

OK, I don't like to rate photos, just like to leave little comments, and dash away. But I will rate this one 7/7. This is the best orginal shot of the Monument I have ever seen. Aesthetically it cannot get anymore pleasing to my eye than this. Put a frame around this and I will hang it on my wall.

You've been in my thoughts, Sondra. I hope that you're soon up and about ... we're needing some more IR scenes to view. :-) Happy New Year!!

A very nice image, the lead in line and the tonal range perfect. Luckily the sun was out although freezing on our recent trip to that wonderful city. It is interesting that shot would not probably be possible during the summer as the trees would be blooming thus obscuring the monument. It just goes to show keep visiting a scene if you like it as the seasons could throw up something new. Clive
