It's a mix of 4 photos all shot with F8 but different time. ᄑ sek, 2

sec 15 sec and 45 sec(bulb). Would have used the HDR in CS2, but I

was not satiesfied with what came out so I made a mix using layers.

Comments and advice will be very much appreciated.

The original looks more clear ( bright) on my monitor than the

upload here. Comments and advice are very appreciated.

I am a newbie but I find the lighting beautiful in this picture. Reminds me of an old master's painting.

Amy ... thanks. Glad you like it.

Guillermo .... Thanks for taking your time. The uploaded photo is a 'mix' from the 4 photos with elements from all of them to reach the balance between light and shadow as i wanted them to be. A manipulation. Pleases me very much that you like it.

Nice outcome Bent, I like it better than the B/W just because I like the colors in the dim light, and the inside that is peeping to the outside.

I have the 30D camera also, how do you like the 24-105 L IS lens?

Ha Birte!!! I have a cure for your homesickness: it's stormy and it is raining VERY MUCH and the tempeture is not over 10 C. As you very well know we have a bad weather, we have no rivers deep or mountains high but you are right, we have something being special for us Danes and I know very well that there were many things I would miss if I lived in another country. Some special places and most of all spring. But you seem to be doing well out there.

Thanks for your nice comment.

Thank you.

And for the lense: it's the best lense I have had together with the 100 mm 2.8 macro. Sometimes I can borrow a 50 mm 1.4. It's really nice to work with too.

Bente - thank you SO much for your inclusion of the separate images used to make this shot. Boy, do I have a lot to learn. :-) It really is a masterpiece.

Layers work well; I use them all the time. I liked seeing exactly what you did here, Bente, with the detailed explanation. Very nice composition!
