2006 Old Fargo

I am not sure what gave me that warm feeling but, perhaps, the background and the ground did it. The abandoned vehicle also provided the hint of the presence of humans intermixed with the woods gave it the balanced feel. I like this one: documentary but effective.

Arthur, Yah, a real 'fixer upper'! :-) Thanks for the suggestion to view 'Larger' I should have thought of that. My other shot of this vehicle was taken on Fuji Superia 800 a year earlier. Interesting colour differences. Best, LM.

conservation area in the Orillia, On. area. This Velvia shot

suppliments my shot of the same vehicle taken in the spring of 2005

with Fuji Superia 800. (see my 2006 folder) Same type of lighting

Thanks for stopping by & for your observations.  Yes, I was pleased with the result here from Velvia. I don't use Velvia much anymore because I find it hard to get good scans from it.  I prefer Sensia or negative films and then I increase the saturation to suit me.  (I prefer a more natural look to a heavily saturated one).  Best, LM.
