bentes_world 0 Posted December 5, 2006 It's a mix of 4 photos all shot with F8 but different time. ᄑ sek, 2 sec 15 sec and 45 sec(bulb). Would have used the HDR in CS2, but I was not satiesfied with what came out. Comments and advice will be very much appreciated. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted December 5, 2006 I'm in no position to comment on an HDR attempt, but I'd love to see the four different shots. It would help ME to understand. Do you have time? As far as a general impression of the shot, I love the mood. It makes me think of a movie set in 1800's Denmark. I can almost *see* the actors coming out the door into the cold.... Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Not familiar, either. I really like this one, Bente. Great atmosphere and mood happening here. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Thanks for your nice comments. I have been uploading teh color version of this and together with that one I have uploaded the four original photos I have used for this one. Hope you 'get the picture' then of what i have been doing to make this picture. I don't know exactly how old this street and house is but the end of 1700 or teh beginning of 1800. If anyone of you should know the fairytail The Little Match-Seller of HC Andersen about a little girl selling match sticks I can tell that I can very well imagine the girl sitting under these windows on X-mas evening. donnaalbers 0 Posted December 7, 2006 Hi Bente, I can very easily imagine the Little Matchstick Girl in this image. . I think your technique worked. . . the lighting feels very natural with nice control of the grey tones and shadows. . it evokes a feeling of hope in this otherwise solemn image. . Link to comment
