Rafik, there wasn't much editing here. I merged two images, adjusted contrast on the head and blurred the landscape. Then I went monochromatic and adjusted channels to get the tone I wanted. Finally I added texture to the image.

Strong image. The bluish tint perfectly fits with the expression of the image

Excellent image. I prefer this one where the christ is looking towards the left (without express some politic opinion).

I very much admire the composition, which enhances the dramatic effect.

Personally, I'm not too keen on the blue tones, but don't mind this it is just personal preference.
