Dead Rose

Chris, don't you know that in the floral category here you are only allowed to post the most hyper-color saturated and garish specimens available (preferably with a bug crawling across the petals)?

The casual viewer might get the impression from this beautiful still life that someone around here still believes in artistry and aesthetics.
