...wedding...

poutnik

Ilford HP5+ pushed to 3200 (very bad light inside the church). Negative scan, correction of curves, levels, burning and dodging, toning. Almost full frame (cropped 2% on the right).

Shot at a wedding of my distant relative. The inside of the church wasvery dark, so I had to push Ilford HP5+ all the way to 3200. Laterdeveloped in Rodinal with my usual semi-stand technique. To my eyes(and on my monitor :-), the shots came out rather good... What do youthink? Do you like it too?

I am fascinated by this photo. How is it possible that the scenery including the saints are almost the same in a church in the Czeck Republic as in a village in Switzerland? I like the symmetry. I try to see more details. The web photo is too small to show what I would like to see. I suggest to crop about 1.5 cm (in the larger version) at both sides and at the bottom and to show the photo larger. You could increase the light by going close to the limit with the levels tool. Regards, Karl
