J. Perez 0 Posted December 2, 2006 The form and textrue of the horse fits in nicely with the texture and color of the trees/bushes. Well seen! Cheers, J Link to comment
caz 1 Posted December 2, 2006 Lovely shot Sondra! (Pity about the leaves across the horse's face.) I love the dappled light on the leaves and your dappled horse. Rgds Carole Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Sondra, sure is a beautiful scene.....I think one thing that seems to set your photographs apart from the majority is that I believe you care about what you are viewing and it comes across in your work......Thanks for sharing......Jim Link to comment

colin carron 58,916 Posted December 9, 2006 You seem to have a kind of Dr Doolittle ability to get these anaimals to look relaxed and natural :-) very good. It looks as though the horse has just emerged from the cover of the trees. Link to comment
williammccarey 0 Posted December 12, 2006 This is a very lovely picture, very peaceful and innocent. You must have been very close using that almost-wide angle lens with your 20D or you blew it up and discovered how crisp the focus was. Great job. Do you shoot in RAW mode? Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted December 16, 2006 Sondra, Very glad to see you back, I expect you are still in the hospital using a laptop or did they give you a driveby knee replacement? Just joking, hope you are getting along well.....Please don't answer until you really feel like it.....All the best......Jim Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Jim, I stayed 2 days in the hospital. Came home on Thursday using a walker. I live in a 2 story house, so I come down each morning and go back in the evening. Feel pretty good, not much pain. The knee is already bending to 110 degrees. I use a machine up to 6 hours a day that bends my knee slowly and pauses at the top and bottom when it is straight or fully bent. Tight stockings and stitches are the bummer right now. Stitches will come out on the 26th. All in all considering I just had major surgery I am doing very well. Thanks for asking. Sondra Link to comment
J. Perez 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Good to hear your recovery is progressing well. You may have to stick to studio still lifes for a while, eh? ;-) Link to comment
