Disappointment

I like this shot.The overall composition and focus works well to draw the viewer to the child's eyes where the story is told.There is a strong feeling of sadness and yet also a slightly disturbing undercurrent of cold brooding anger.The retention of( or perhaps addition of) color to the dress in an otherwise B&W photo strongly supports the major theme of disappointment.And yet at the same time it somehow mocks the child's loss. This is an excellent human interest piece
