Ice crystals in the pine's leaves? What cold! Brrrrr... Nice view and good selective approach. Regards.

The lens obviously has a very ugly bokeh. Shooting this lens wide open results in the really distracting out of focus octagons. I also fail to see what is sharp and why. There are just too much different elements fighting for attention.

Thank you all for your comments. Thank you Boris for you technical input. I am a serious photo amateur who has been trained in the fine arts, but havent ever taken advanced photography classes, so thank you for the information about the lens and the concept of bokeh, which I have never heard about until now.

Bokeh... what in hell is that? Doesn't matter because this photo is edgy! I love it! Focused photography is nice, sometimes, other times, a feel for a photo creates more creative shots. Btw, your a cutie!

Thank you Neli for the nice compliments :) I tried not to be too sarcastic in thanking Boris for his input, getting mad is not my style.....but I tried to leave a little hint of sarcasm....See, Boris here had to get revenge on a couple of my images because I did not care much for one of his "fasihon" shots he requested for critique. Boris here had to make me seem small and insignificant as a photographer by throwing around his abstract concepts of lens "bokeh" to show me up. My photo skills are not perfect, no one's are, but that's what that was all about. And further.....the octagonal shapes are not from bad lens "bokeh", the lens was not wide open, the shapes resulted from the highlights of the sun reflecting on the ice. If my lens had quote unquote "ugly bokeh", the entire background would have had that effect. Maybe in Boris's eyes this would be a better image if I had a nude woman cupping her breast in front of the pine leaves:) Just a thought.
