Death Valley Sand Dunes

This was shot minutes before sunrise when light was still soft.

Even though this does not have the intensive colors as my other

shots do, I thought the softness and more subtle shades had their

own appeal, beauty and uniqueness. What do you think? Comments and

critiques are welcome and appreciated.

Great shot. I really love the lines in the sand - with your composition leading into the hills beyond. One critique I have is the mountains beyond, which slightly distracts me as my eyes are led into this shot. I don't know if you can really crop them out to give the landscape justice, but perhaps including them with a little sky? Just a thought. Truly well done nonetheless Eugene
