baerbel 0 Posted November 28, 2006 ...the Colosseum in Rome, about 2,000 years old. Thank you for looking :) Link to comment
ctgorczyca 0 Posted November 28, 2006 this is a nice photo but the people in the lower left hand corner are distracting. It would be better to clone them out of the photo. Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Ted, I agree and considered it, unfortunately my cloning technique leaves a lot to be desired, that's why I left them in. Thanks for the suggestion, however. :) Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Hey Barb! nice natural color and composition. for me, the people are a part of the moment and the story. you could sterilize the shot by cloning them out, but they do add a splash of reality and perspective to the shot (i probably would clone them out and compare original to PP) nicely done. regards, J.K. jacob tallman 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Do you know how the building of the Coliseum was financed? Have you seen the Arch of Titus? Link to comment
baerbel 0 Posted December 2, 2006 I believe I do, JR. The Collosseum was financed with the spoils of war - plunder taken from Rome's conquest of Jerusalem a few years earlier. Titus was the one who led the Romans to victory, there and at Masada. The arch dedicated to him is not far from the Colosseum, within walking distance, and yes, I saw it. Thank you for your comment. :) Link to comment
