Thank you Harvey an interesting comment and not just because you seem to like it. I am equally enthralled when people take the trouble to tell me why they don't like a picture. I took quite a few and moved around the subject. I also moved the chair around on which I stood! So I guess I have more "corner" left in some. The light source in this case is light coming through the window to the right. To remove that shadow, I would have had to use a flash (or other light source which I don't possess). In a sense, it cuts the symmetry and the expected. Don't know if that's bad or not in this particular image. Again, many thanks for coming by.
form, geometry, and angle the body form, the geometric pattern which draws people's eye to the subject, *AND* the angle which you took the picture... the end result is breathless. I think you mentioned something about you tend to use simple light set ups. My question to you is, at the upper-right corner. have you tried a shot without having that corner of the floor pattern being cut off? Nothing wrong with your current shot, and that shadow probably made this picture more interesting. But I am just wondering. Harv
