I am working on a proto-book documenting America's abandoned asylums,

santoriums, and hospitals. This is a recent shot for said book. All

comments and especially in-depth critiques are most heartily welcomed!

The walls tell a disturbing story. I can only imagine how many eyes have stared desperately out those windows wanting to be free. Love the color texture and light. Good job!! Would like to see more.

This is a very moving image and the color tones on the walls seem to be so similar in all of the images I have seen of this sort of place... peeling paint.. interesting shaped windows.... very very moving work...most excellent... I wish to follow your work along...

Good composition and lighting! As an aside, I don't know where you are based but ouside of Charlottesville, Virginia, there is a place that used to be called Blue Ridge and was first a TB sanatorium and was then converted to a hospital and was finally abandoned about 15 years ago. It may fit in your book somewhere. Cheers, J
