The DOF here is OK.

 

The composition could be made with more care. The central placing of the flower is not the best, You have some other flowers protruding from the edges, they are taking the attention away. The grey stone is a huge spot in the composition with nearly no role in this image. Try to simplify and compose carefully (best with a tripod), get rid of all elements, that do not cary any importance).
