Zooming in on the Terra Cotta Warriors

Each of the hundreds of terra cotta statues that has been excavated

has different, distinctive facial features.

They are amazing, especially when you are in the hall and see them all lined up in the huge excavation pit, which I did many years ago. I believe the ones above were holding wooden flag poles at one time, correct? I like this shot, as it shows how each is quite different from the next, and for 'warriors' they have a very wise and peaceful expression. Good job, Jim! :)

I know this picture from some film, and it is very interesting sceene - so interesting that it bings dramatic moment with first look on them.
