Wow! This is an absolutely beautiful picture! Without the girl it would be still be excellent, but the child adds so much excitement and makes the viewers imagination take off. I love it! Well done!

Superb photograph. In my opinion without the girl, it would be quite boring, without the umbrella it still would not be alive - but with the girl and especially highlighted umbrella it is marvelous.

This is a gorgeous photo and well-composed with the child placed in just the right position. However, I question the presence of the umbrella. It's not raining. The sun is not high enough to require an umbrella for shade. Other than as an obvious prop for this photo....there's no reason for it to be there. The same effect could have been achieved with a colorful translucent scarf, something that a child might spontaneously wave. Other than that, congratulations on a nice achievement. Well done.

Who didn't run around and play with an umbrella when they were a kid...she's just playing with it anyways...it's not like she is holding it up to protect her for something. I think the umbrella is OK. If you are going to read into it that much then maybe she packed it because there were so many clouds in the sky or maybe it just stopped raining and that is why she is so happy!

Bottom line - great picture!
