Hello Alec, a very rich and exotic image. The dancers' expression seems more quizzical than sultry, but I like the overall effect.

Alec, really elegant, exquisite & original, it tell about story, and love the warm side-light & details as usual, very defferent & artistic!!! Best regards.

I suggest lighting the background with a little more drama. The similarity in the background and subject colors, tones and complexity makes it hard to visually separate her from the tapestry. Maybe just making the background darker would help, and a little less fill on her. Feet would be good too. She seems truncated... t

Thanks Chaba for coming.

Tom, appreciate your suggestions. I'm glad you note that the model blend in nicely with the background, that was what I am trying the achieve. As for images of her I have many more to play with. Showing her whole body will only make her part of the background. I wanted her to stand out.

So which is it? Blend in? Or Stand out?... t

Sorry Tom, just returned from overseas assignment. What I meant was blending in with the correct color tones to look like she's actually in the scene and yet standing out by projecting her nearer and not her whole figure.

Alec, you are right, she looks very much a part of the BG and yet has enough light( and violet color...) to stand out. Reminds me the tales of "100 nights and a night" if you are familiar with it. nice work.

I do not know what I have to admire, the bg, the model, the composition, the execution or the creator? Michael.
