Church door

Photo taken in a little village in the Pyrenees named Coustouge,

near the frontier between France and Spain. I have combined two

shots, one exposed for the door and one exposed for the outside.

Oliver, felicitations pour le bon usage de ma langue, et Alberto, je ne sais en revanche si je merite les votres car j'ai abandonne au bout de trois mots : je n'ai aucune pratique de l'espagnol et je dois consulter le dictionnaire pour quasiment tous les mots.

Very skilled photo work, the double expose result looks perfectly natural, like the view your eyes saw that moment, I guess. Great tonal range and contrast, lots of interesting detail to enjoy, holds my interest for a long time

Henri, the effect in black & white for this image is superlative. You have managed to capture the deepest shadows and yet retain the highlight detail to a marvelous degree, very well done. Did you do a color rendition also? After being unable to post for about a month I finally loaded some images yesterday much to my glee, overcoming frustration of not being able to get any image to transfer to the p.n. site. I hope you were not having the same problem. Again a real fine image as always with a touch of the mysterious. Dick

Thank you Richard. Yes, there is a colour version, and in fact it is the original version. I don't make black & white shots, I only make b&w conversions of colours shots when they present a better or another interest than the colour version. I am happy that you can load photos again. I haven't still had this problem, at least during all one month. I believe it must be very frustrating.
