Great piece Kaushik. Unfortunately the cottage itself is overshadowed by the beauty that is all around. Happy New Year!

Wish you a very happy new year. This photo is wonderful - I like the effect you have been able to bring to the sky. I would have loved tp see more of the cottage - but what place our Himalayas is - it never stops to amaze me

Beautiful, sharp colors....The mountains are beautiful with the snow....

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment on "my favorite son-in-law"

A very striking scene, and well exposed. For me, the cottage is too prominent, the foreground too heavy, minimizing the magnitude of the mountain range,as beautiful and massive, as it is. This was my initial impression, and before I read any comments, so, it's obvious, I'm a minority of one.

I have no idea what terrain obstacles you encountered, but a camera position further back, to the right, and possibly a little higher, might have encompassed the cottage, but appearing smaller, and shown more of the grassy valley, giving some separation, between cottage and mountain range.

almost too perfect. (The sky gives me a sense of the unreal, if that makes any sense)

looks great, brings a feeling of 'wish I was there.'
