My first upload / critique reqest for 2 years. I got a bit bored of idiots giving 3/3 ratings on photos which cleary deserve at least a 4 or higher :)

Anyway, thought I would test the water again with a few. This being the first.

15 second exposure using Grad filters and levels and sharpening in PS.

Comments and constructive critique appreciated.

Not much to critique here... it's a perfect and beautiful image. I love the lens flare (glad you didn't try to remove that), and the warm colors on the rock in the foreground.

Exquisite. Rocks, misty water and a low sun may be frequently photographed subjects but they're rarely photographed as well as this. The light reflecting off the rocks is an absolute joy.

It's a great shot, particularly as you used a 15 second exposure. The water is soothingly smooth and the reflection on the rock is beautiful. My only crticism would be that the horizon is too high.

I like your photo and think the lens flare gives it more character, the line of the horizon looks to sharp. If this is a composite you might soften that line with a eraser tool while working in layers, just feather some to give it more gradual transition. either way I like it.

Lovely shot! Count me one of those for keeping the flare, it adds to the effect. Gorgeous light. Great capture and nice work. Best regards, Chris
