polaris 0 Posted November 23, 2006 I like the bottom shot, a very mischievious looking grin. The top photo, looks out of kilter to me. I don't like the fingers. Good lighting, and I love the Anakin Skywalker robe. Lindsey Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Thanks Lindsey- This is our oldest Grandson. He was attempting his "gangster" look. Obviously not pulling it off well :) Way too cute looking :) A real character this one! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I like the bottom shot, too, and think it would stand alone nicely. Nice lighting and exposure, Jayme. Link to comment
jasonwilliamsphotography 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Both of these shots are great together, or as stand alone shot, wonderful composition, light and expressions! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted December 1, 2006 Thanks Howard Thanks Jason Just found out we are having another grandson in May, that will bring the total to 5 :) Just can't get a girl :) Boys, boys everywhere, not a girl to be found! My husband is thinking of starting his own basketball team :) Me....I'm going to attempt to get one of them interested in Photography :) Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted December 1, 2006 In all the world, how wonderful is the charm of a young face....ready to accept this world as it is, willing to understand and grasp all that is needed to be happy. Willing reject that which is false or untrue, not so much from understanding and knowledge but a deeper joy, that of truely loving life to the fullest. Well captured in this panel of shots, brings a smile to my face. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted December 2, 2006 Children are so fascinating :) Innocent, impressionable, opinionated (at times :) & full of ideas. If we listen hard, most times they have the answers to the most difficult questions. They have the uncanny ability to cut through the old baggage we adults find ourselves mired in, get to the root of the conflict, recognize the problem & solve it quickly & simply :) I am of the firm belief that everything I really needed to know to get along in this world, I learned in Kindergarten :) The rules were simple & they can be applied to just about every situation that could arise in life. Children are our future. Each one of my current 4 grandsons are as different as night & day. They each have similar characteristics but distinctively different personalities :) Jake (9) is thoughtful & cautiously optimistic. (Much like his Uncle) Ethan (4)is carefree & trusting without question, but painfully shy when confronted with new people. (Much like his Grandfather) Tyson (2) is fearless, inquisitive & extremely independent (Much like his grandmother & Mother :) It's funny, he even looks like me when I was young :) Eli (18mos) is thoughtful, semi-trusting, independent & very determined. (much like his Great grandfather) I can't wait to see the personality develop of our newest grandson, due in May of 07. We were so hoping for a girl, but it was not in the cards. However, as long as he's healthy, that's enough for me :) I can only hope I live long enough to see "my boys" have children, maybe then I'll get my girl :) I jokingly tell "my boys", "Girls rule, Boys drool" :) The oldest, Jake, thinks that's funny. He of course turns it around "Boys rule, Girls drool" :) They know I love them :) Albert & Thomas were extremely intelligent individuals who were able to step back & take a look at the bigger picture of the world we live in. I try hard to have the ability to do the same. The "bigger picture" is much more important then the narrow, day to day, view. I have added a quote by Gandhi, "What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?" I find it pertinent to the world conflicts of today. The bigger picture, again. Link to comment

jayme 0 Posted December 11, 2006 I obviously, am not shy :) Day by day we stumble along & somehow find what we're suppose to find, eventually :) Each day is a new adventure! Link to comment
bridgette eshghi 0 Posted January 4, 2007 I truly enjoyed this post. Love the photo. I have been out of touch for the holidays with a new grangbaby and my mother in physical therapy. I hope this year will be a productive one for me with my photography. I know I will be busy no matter what. Life is grand that way. My Best Always, Bridgette Link to comment
