After I took the previous shot (the http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5222898">Stormclouds), I wandered around for several minutes. Then I noticed theclouds formed such a nice line, mirroring the path on the ground...And this is the result. What do you think? Do you likeit?

Thanks for your comments and ideas, Jiri

I like this shot too. I agree with Claude, you could probably brighten the FG just a touch. Nice job, very good composition and it makes a nice B&W. Best regards, Chris

Jiri, we both have a bright monitor, I guess. I mean, the shadow detail and exposure is just right here. Well composed, converging land and sky lines go to an eccentric vanishing point, this is just after my fancy. Gorgeous sky, you had a good day :-)

Thank you all for those kind comments. As Carsten suggested, maybe we have a brighter monitor (I have a Benq LCD). It's not calibrated but judging from the presentation of photos of other photographers, I think it's not overly bright. On my monitor the ground on the right is just correct, as I want it to be, the trees on the horizon are mostly dark, but I also wanted them to be so. If I try to make the foreground any lighter, it will look unnatural and wrong for me... But anyway, thank you for stopping by...

This is a beautiful composition, and excellent in black & white, with nice contours of the clouds and a large range of tones.
