marianna_safronova 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Thank you all for comments! Mark, The original is shot with 10mm lens so I could get the entire building up close. As I result, I first had to correct perspective. The original is taken at partially overcast midday (my only chance to get there, could not be there otherwise) and there are some clouds on light blue sky. It looked pretty flat (diffused middday light) so I overlayed sunrise sky in "hard light" mode so both skies merged allowing to see original clouds a bit. I used a mask to adjust layer transparency to keep some pink sunrise light on the building and created shading by using mask on the curves adjustment layer. At this point, it looked more like a fantasy image anyway so I added the moon from another image. It was pretty crowded so I erased some people on the direct line of sight to the building. Best regards, Marianna Link to comment
