The Back Corner

Hi,

There's two things... I'll start with the compliment and say that I really like the composition, range of colours and choice of subject. In addition the exposure is really well balanced. On the other hand I don't really like this effect that a lot of people seem to apply to their photos that make them look fake, sort of drawing like... could you enlighten me and let me know how it's done? It seems like if the textures are lost and that everything is made of plastic... Do you use some kind of noise reduction?

But again, original shot must be great, congrats even if taste differ,
