regis 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Well, it seems that again we have a great range of rates here :) Unfortunately the low ones are always left alone - without any word or two. It's sad - because I would be more than happy knowing what I could possibly improve. Thank you very much for your comments. It's nice to read that some of you really like it. Link to comment
seandepuydt 2 Posted November 21, 2006 Piotr, I think you may have recieved some low rates for the title. It's a common occurance. Confusing title = low rates. That's what I'm figuring anyway. :) - Sean Link to comment
regis 0 Posted November 21, 2006 OMG - if title is such a big problem for some people then I really don't know what to say :( This rocky tower is called "Guardian" as it guards the entrance to Glen Coe valley. I mentioned it before with my other shots from this place. I didn't put this note here to leave some place for your imagination and free interpretation. Does everything has to be "black & white" ? :( Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Piotr, don't sweat it, most of us 'got it.' It is a superb image in all facets. Sometimes there just isn't a rational explanation for the ratings. All the best, Chris Link to comment
jimcallum 0 Posted November 21, 2006 No Piotr, Black and white usually gets low ratings also :) Regards, Jim Link to comment
regis 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Thank you Chris - I know that - but I still hope to get some explaination from the low-raters :) Maybe - someday ? You're right Jim :] By the way - I've noticed it has to be an exaggerated HDR photo, full of unreal colours to draw people's attention on this website :) Don't you have the same impression ? seandepuydt 2 Posted November 22, 2006 Piotr, I was kidding about the title. It doesn't make any sense, low ratings. I think your title is fine as is this image. I would rate this a 6/6. - Sean Link to comment
dougie 0 Posted March 17, 2007 Another very well documented place, this is also known as Stob Dearg, the point of the mountain in your grand image, the whole set of 3 mountains is The Buachaille Etive Mor, I am told. You have treated my country well with your Canon, I will return again to view more of you wonderful work. All the very best Dougie Link to comment
