Nice work, Kim. Corel Painter is an amazing product. With all the strokes radiating from the center, this takes on the look of a zoomed blur filter. But I do like the soft painterly look and the black background.

Thanks for commenting, Tom. I do like Painter Essentials, but don't use it that often. I end up sitting at the computer for hours on end when I play around with it. :)

Indeed, I agree that this is a pleasingly innovative look. The eyes and nose are sharp, with a "zoomed" appearance to the rest of the head. I am not at all familiar with the Corel Painter program, but it would seem that I should put investigating this one on my to-do list. Kim, I really like the grey eyes!

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too...Gobble, Gobble, Gobble! Regards.

I'm trying to figure out what I like more, the fact that you've managed to make a kittin even softer or the fact that he/she looks like it's about to say something! I'll have to look into that program as well. Have a great Thanksgiving Kim! -Anthony

Hi Kim,

I loved your painted dog, and your painted deer even more. Magnificent!

I think that the painteffect on this kitten is a bit less visible than with the deer and the dog but nevertheless its a very nice artwork. I searched my cd's and guess what i found :)

I knew that i had to have it somewhere. I got this program with my paintshop X for free but i have never installed or used it. Nowadays i use Photoshop and i forgot about it completely. So now i have no excuse of not using it :) The effects are wonderful.

Best regards,

Marga
