A romantic concept very well developed, minimalist, simple, focused on the horizontal strips (I'm not talking about the camera focus only) giving a deep sense to the title. My eyes keep imprisoned too by those white and black bars. Original and singular composition Lannie, I like it. Bravo amigo!

Thanks, Carlos. This was salvaged from a failed impromptu portrait (otherwise known as a "snap"). --Lannie

I'm not sure if I view this as being romantic or altogether minimalist, but I do know that it's innovative, ingenious and well-recovered, considering it wasn't thought out as we see it now. Interesting.

Hi Landrum My eye was really drawn to this thumbnail in your portfolio. I think it could work sharper (perhaps only a personal preference). Still, I think it a great image.

Thanks, Chuck. This was cropped from a much larger file and probably does not have enough pixels to do much more with it. --Lannie

The photo was cropped from a picture of Betty in the spring of 2002.
