I love swamp shots, and you did a beautiful job with this one. Fall colors are sublime, yet you captured the monotone effect as a background as well. Very nice!

It would be nice to see this photo larger. It's hard to see the detail like this. I like the colour combination - gray and orange - not too common. Nice framing. I'd give it 5 out of 7 points. Cheers, Micheal

Love the reflections of Cypresses on water. You have captured color where there is seldom any. It makes a nice contrast to the Spanish moss. Nice work!

I love the contrast of the reds on the grey and black. The top portion could be an abstract splatter painting. I would, however crop this differently, cutting off the lower quarter. The equal division of the frame is not as pleasing as if the trees had more visual weight, getting two-thirds of the frame.

Well seen, well executed, and well..... great! :) I love the simplicity of this image. The contrast between teh gray and red... the almost monochromatic feel of this image... it all works very well.

One of my new manias is any water reflection that looks like a Monet; plenty of those here. Off topic, some of your B/W pics were taken with a Contax G2...WTH..do you still have it, use it, do you like it? I was thinking about getting one but it seems like fighting the switch to digital is futile. Are you all digi now or do you have a roll or two in the fridge (film, I mean roll of film). Anyway, great photo....G.E.
