jennifercatron 9 Posted November 18, 2006 This is totally not pretty. The post processing needs lots of help. Colors are excellent, and the composition is spot on, so why not give this poor tree a break and leave it be in the post processing process. Link to comment
chrisspracklen 0 Posted November 18, 2006 The answer to your question is: "Because I like it!" My preference is for strong, vibrant colours. That's how I 'see' things, so that's why I bump up the contrast and saturation a little... And, believe me, it was only "a little"! Thanks for stopping by, Chris Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted November 19, 2006 This looks to me a little like an illustration in a children's book. It's very mysterious. I love the twists and turns in the trunk. The colours are wonderful. Beautiful. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted November 21, 2006 Looks a bit surreal, quite interesting idea the fill flash (?), I like it. Link to comment
clivefox 1 Posted November 21, 2006 Chris, I love this shot. The fill flash highlighting the gnarled and twisted trunk leading the eye up the left hand side then across the image and back into the foliage. nicely done Clive Link to comment
awhitt99 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I love the luxurious colors in this. Great framing of the tree, especially the contrast of the gnarled cluster in the top left, and the the little bit of sky breaking through in bottom right. It would make a wonderful tapestry with the flat, but gorgeous feel. Link to comment
