sondra kick 0 Posted November 18, 2006 Thanks, Kim and Reuben, yes it was an early snowfall for Colorado. Link to comment
williammccarey 0 Posted November 18, 2006 OK, you and Jim Kerr have ruined me. The first thing I thought was "ah ha, an IR shot." Then I realized black moss does not grow in trees. I like the sepia tone, your drop shadow is an elegant touch, and the deer is beautifuly cropped. I know you weren't really outside in a snowstorm shooting, so I guess this is with a long lens, through the window, while toasting your tootsies next to the roaring fire. Yes? Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 18, 2006 William, I shot this from the window of the car so as not to spook her too much. Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted November 19, 2006 Oh! This is delightful, Sondra. A bit different from your usual IR landscapes ... the variety is nice. I LOVE the huge ears. And I really like the snow sitting on the branches. The scene would have been lovely without the deer. :-) Link to comment

carlsphotography 0 Posted November 19, 2006 Excellent shot!! You should make it into a Christmas card and send it to all your friends and family. Congratulations. Regards Carl Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 19, 2006 Very nice wildlife shot. Because the snow in the trees adds so much, I'd be tempted to raise the camera a bit to get more of them, sacrificing about half of the ground between you and the deer. Link to comment

ffrank 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Hi Sondra-- This is great. The sepia tone works well here. Can you get a picture of a turkey next? One that still has feathers. Fred Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Not many turkeys left with feathers these days, maybe next year. Link to comment
