This is a message! Maybe not to me, coz im non-smoker, but there is a point.

Interesting, but I think I'd have used a different background.

OK. I like it.

I'll disagree with Yann on the background. I really like the idea. The dark blur by the second cigarette spoils the progression and I think you lose something by clipping the base off the first two. Still a great shot. Keith

I like the concept. I wonder if a different color cast could make the subjects strongers.

Nice idea, god work here, try loosing the patch between the second and third cigarette, regards, RK!

The idea is really great. Only wish the background was different, something that highlighted the subject more. But full marks to the creatie idea.

Awsome. It's nice when you know that the photographer is using their brain to come up with IDEAS. Aesthetic details can be worked out over time, through trial and error if necessesary. Background color, compositional details, etc, you work that stuff out as you go along. It's the concepts that really sets the photographs apart and actually speaks out to the viewer, grabbing them by the teeth and pulling them in. I would take the idea and see what types of effects you can make on the overall feeling by experimenting with angles, color, composition, maybe try it outside using black "clove" cigarettes and do a high-key version in bright sunlight? anyway, well done, keep shooting, and keep thinking.
