robert_tilden1 0 Posted September 26, 2002 Would like to see warm lights on inside the cabin; perhaps omitting the outside lights which look green rather than amber. Could apply Thomas Kincade lighting to this type of photo with smoke comming out of the cabin, and the moon on the horrizon with the alpenglow of a setting sun. The moonlight is good. Would like to know the exposure time and other technicals. Perhaps another picture with stars will work. Good subject; lends itself to lots of combinations with and without people, various angles, time of day etc. Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted September 26, 2002 Thanks For the comments! And to you Robert; This photo was taken mid-winter 2000 and i belive the exposure time was 2-3 min at f11 but im not shure, you are right about the green lights, its not the most appealing color. I now have a coral grad filter that i will try to use this winter on among other, scenes like this. About the light inside; thats not so simple since its rarely people there in the winter. A startrail could be interresting to try... time will show what i can come up with. Regards! Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted December 1, 2002 Atle, IMO and contrary to Robert's comments, you have achieved a beautiful night winter scene with the existing elements. Of course I agree with Robert on what he says but things were as they were and you got a very beautiful night shot with that touch of deep blue on the sky coming from the long exposure Link to comment
