Very cute and sympathic image. The composition leaves me wondering a bit. It is good that you spared the little tree as a whole, but on the other hand, it also makes this a bit unbalanced.

Nice shot. As this shot has a high dynamic range, have you considered doing some selective Levels/curves adjustments on the background to reduce the severity of the sun. Also a crop to the right of the mother, would help with the distracting sapling and make the mother less central in the shot. PLease feel free to comment on my gull. Love the shot. Love the cows. If I didn't I wouldn't meddle, but I agree with Carl and took a minute to illustrate what he was talking about in levels and cropping. See attachment and you may or may not agree.

I've never seen a cow look beautiful before seeing this photo. Well done.
