snapshooter 0 Posted June 15, 2007 Thanks for stopping by, Sheryl. This was the first shot I ever entered in a contest, and it placed second out of over 8000 entries across Canada, and I won a Leica 111f 35mm camera. The following year I enterred it in U.S. Camera magazine's international contest, and it placed 23rd out of 87,000 entries from 53 countries worlwide, and was judged by Alfred Eisenstadt, Richard Avedon, Margaret Bourke White amomg other notable photographers and a group of magazine editors. Also managed to win second place in that contest as well with the little one eyed kitten, and for that I won an inground 18X36 foot Esther Williams swimming pool, fully equipped. I mention this now, after having been on site for awhile, that others who are concerned or irritated over 3/3's and 4/4's, will be less inclined to be affected by the anonymity of such ratings. :).
