I am not familiar where your locale is within Ontario. I am in Sault Ste. Marie. Your picture is striking -- very nicely done. The colours, contrast, lighting, blackness of the water, etc.

Nice shot! Did you have to time this for it to be so calm. It resembles a painting it is so serine. Beautiful tones. Love that tree in the back, and not over looking the really nice reflection. I could go on...!

Thanks for stopping by, Janis. The water is always mirror like and black at this location. I've never understood how it's so calm on top, yet boiling out just over that ledge. A number of kids have failed to heed that sign and drowned there.
