Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 10, 2006 Yep. Got the ol' eyeballs peeled, I see. This is an arresting photo, one to keep in mind for your next show. Link to comment
DrewBayless 3 Posted November 23, 2006 There is something about the hue and quality of the hazy light here that evokes Las Vegas for me. (Whether this is or not, I don't know, its my nearest reference point.) I never got to see inside a car park in Vegas (I happily gave tips to the valets in between playing 12 hour poker sessions at The Mirage) - but I imagine it looks like this. Apart from the aesthetic quality of the light and open/closed space, contrast of colour and form - I like the symbol of the Palm - a mini-oasis, yet surrounded by concrete and buildings. Is it hopeful? Or depressing? Or,like being in Vegas, sometimes both at the same time. Link to comment
street photography karina 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Very good and well seen. I know it's a cliche but in this case, it really is well seen. I probably would have passed by without looking twice. Link to comment
