inoneeye 8,634 Posted November 10, 2006 very good interpretation of a commonly photographed subject. / not knowing if it is intended ? i find tension in the depth of field. nice piece of abstract work. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted November 10, 2006 This one certainly got my attention but I am not sure if I like it or not. I definitely like the idea but I do feel it could be better... just don't ask me how... I have no clue. Link to comment
bgw 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Very thoughtful interplay of focus and unfocus - the plane of focus seems to act as a landscape forground while the interest is in the recession of shapes, with the alternating highlights and shadows. The nearly bilateral symmetry slightly broken by the hair strands repeated by thrcrossing lower legs, creates a fascinating frame for the eye. Link to comment
torri 0 Posted November 12, 2006 Hey Robert, as David says "i had to take a look" but i cannot decide if i like it or not. But for an artist isn?t that a bad situation, i guess. If your pictures will be discussed you did a good job. best wishes Torri Link to comment
