Can't help to agree with what Neil memtioned. I also like the warm tone in this photo. She's very hypnotizing.... For some reason, i love photograph of beautiful women with books :o). Tanya.
Thank you Tanya, admittedly I agree, because it gives a more social dimension to an otherwise plainly glamour image. In fact, not just the library, but any activity around the house can add that exxtra dimension and it's nice to combine the two. This is a very sensitive and fine young lady with warm yet passionate eyes. I find the library suits her well, at any rate it certainly doesn't make the picture any less attractive.
And she has the eyes of an artist. Wonderful gentle pose with hands and expression. One of the most in-depth faces I've seen. My eye keeps seeing her as a timeless Renaissance painting.
But... as an environmental portrait, bookcase has more meaning. I do think the negative space on the left doesn't do quite as much as in some images. Great model though, and the idea of tying in her work with the model is a very good one.
Very soft, really don't need the contrast of the the bookcase., it looks too ordinary.
An artist in New York ... She writes, paints and takes gorgeous photographs ....
