Karl Schuler 48 Posted November 9, 2006 The Darkot pass is not the easiest but the shortest way out of the Bhoroghil Valley in Chitral. The path follows first the moraine for three hours before reaching the glacier. The way down the other side to the Yasin valley is very steep. It took us 14 hours to cross the pass with the help of yaks and porters. Thank you all. Karl Link to comment
lightwait 0 Posted November 9, 2006 I always wondered what it was like up there. Must have been an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing, Karl. Link to comment
gerhardt 0 Posted November 9, 2006 This is quite impressive! The people are well placed just off the center and the silhoutted forms atop the mountain heads in the sky is fantastic. The view is impressive and panoramic works well. Incredible location my friend, this is a pleasure to share. Cheers, Gerhardt Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted November 15, 2006 Superb panoramic, thanks for the larger version. The small human figures add a feeling for the dimensions, well composed shot. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 9, 2007 Has to be seen large Karl,I like the difference here betweenFG and BG, what catches my eye here is the people's forms on the hill that their curvature has a similarity to the very far away mountain on the left( about, diagonaly looking) ;-)) do you see it? Nice panoramic view. Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted January 10, 2007 Pnina, I have not seen this similarity before, but as you mention it, it is there. Perhaps giants approaching from the other side? Karl Link to comment
